There was so much conflicting advice out there (CDO saying something ; then successful alumni saying something different) and everything sounded so exciting and so important.
I felt like I hadn't found my secret sauce yet and with all the hype that’s out there, I would always feel like I am not doing enough, or what I should be doing, and what I was missing out.
After spending +100 hours researching and talking to dozens of people I finally realized 2 things:
1) There is no super secret hack to overnight success as a job applicant.
2) Copy-paste, ‘steal my cool strategy’ solutions don’t work because they are either outdated strategies
OR because what they try to push on you simply isn’t aligned with who you are and your purpose.
